Westbridge drives e-mobility forward with PATRIZIA
The energy and sustainability expert Westbridge Advisory (Westbridge) supported PATRIZIA SE (PATRIZIA) in the strategic planning and implementation of an e-charging concept for its new residential construction project "Augusta & Luca" in Ladehofstraße in Augsburg. Westbridge was commissioned by the international investment and asset manager to install four charging points, each with a capacity of 22 kilowatts, in the parking areas associated with the project.
With the cooperation with Westbridge, PATRIZIA is pursuing a key milestone in its sustainability strategy of offering e-mobility in the residential properties it manages. The mandate awarded to Westbridge also secured the power supply required to use the e-charging stations. The negotiated contract period for the supply of climate-friendly charging power begins this month and is designed for eight years.
"Equipping residential buildings with e-charging stations is increasingly becoming the standard - but only in the new-build segment. In order to create a comprehensive, sustainable infrastructure for the use of e-mobility, the modernization of parking spaces in existing residential buildings is a major factor. Without this, the mobility transition in private transport can hardly be mastered," says Markus Hamacher, Managing Director of Westbridge Energy GmbH, which handled the project operationally within the Westbridge Group.
For PATRIZIA, the introduction of e-charging concepts in its residential properties represents a forward-looking expansion of its portfolio. The integration of e-charging infrastructure enhances the attractiveness and value of the respective properties and also meets the increasing market requirements for sustainable residential developments.
