Westbridge secures 37 percent savings for DSI - Dr. Ing. Schmolke Immobilien

Westbridge Advisory (Westbridge), one of the leading energy and sustainability consultants for real estate clients in Europe and a cooperation partner of VDIV Germany and BVI Bundesfachverband der Immobilienverwalter, assisted Dr.-Ing. Schmolke Immobilien GmbH (DSI) with the tendering of metering services for part of its managed residential real estate portfolio. The aim of the tender was to review the existing contracts in economic terms and to realize potential savings for owners and consumers.

In 2025, a portfolio with around 3,500 usage units was put out to tender on the market and comprehensively evaluated from an energy and commercial perspective. In the course of the new contract award, savings of around 37% were achieved for consumers for metering services compared to the previous situation.
"Especially with large residential portfolios, it is clear how relevant a transparent market comparison of metering services is," says Dennis Schreml, Head of Digital Energy Solutions at Westbridge. "Thanks to the structured tender, we were not only able to achieve an economically convincing result for DSI, but also create measurable added value for the tenants."
