Westbridge opens Warsaw office – Danuta Grzywacz appointed Country Head Poland

ESG and operational cost expert Westbridge Advisory (Westbridge) has opened a new office in the Polish capital, Warsaw, in April 2022. This is located at Rondo ONZ 1 and will be managed by Danuta Grzywacz. In her role as Country Head Poland, she will report directly to Hajo Engelke, Managing Director at Westbridge Advisory International AG. Investors and asset managers of Polish real estate will thus benefit from Westbridge's local expertise.

In addition to an existing office in Zurich, Westbridge's international division is now represented in two locations outside Germany through the Polish branch office. The company thus aims to consolidate its established supremacy in sustainability and energy efficiency consulting for the real estate industry.

Danuta Grzywacz, who studied finance and management, began her career in 2002 as a senior sales specialist at Bank BPH in Poland. Four years later, she moved to Raiffeisen Bank Polska. After further positions, including Business Development Manager at the service provider econocom, Grzywacz gained experience in the field of digital transformation. During her last position as Director at Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) in Warsaw, where she was jointly responsible for Sales Management and Clients Growth, she recognized her penchant for sustainability in the real estate industry. This prompted Grzywacz to become more involved with Net Zero issues and to push for a move to ESG expert Westbridge.

Danuta Grzywacz says: "Our goal is to fundamentally raise awareness of ESG in Poland and to position Westbridge even more strongly as a strategic and operational expert in this field. In doing so, our ambition is to continue to grow our existing mandates in Poland while expanding our client base to include key players in the commercial real estate sector."

"With our representation in Poland, we are driving our Europe-wide growth. The new location in Warsaw allows us to tap into this important market for us and to intensify our support with more proximity to our clients," added Hajo Engelke, Managing Director at Westbridge. "We are delighted to have gained a proven expert for our company in Danuta. With her wealth of experience, she will be an excellent addition to our team. Danuta will help us to gain a further foothold in the Polish market and accompany our customers on the path towards climate neutrality."
