Westbridge is supporting the Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie Foundation in its next step toward greater consumption transparency at 285 metering points

Westbridge Advisory GmbH (Westbridge), one of Europe’s leading energy and sustainability consulting firms for the real estate industry, has supported the Nieder-Ramstädter Diakonie Foundation (NRD) in the integrated development of its energy and consumption management. As part of the restructuring of the electricity and gas supply for a real estate portfolio in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, Westbridge also supported the NRD in the long-term reorganization of its metering operations for electricity and natural gas.

The mandate covers a total of 285 metering points, including 224 electricity and 61 natural gas metering points. The transition for the individual properties will take place gradually over the term of the contract.

With the new metering operations, NRD is adding another operational component to its already realigned energy supply. In the future, it will be able to track its energy consumption more reliably and consistently. This will make it possible to track consumption more transparently, better assess cost trends, and identify further savings potential across the property portfolio.

Westbridge supported the process from the initial assessment through the coordination of project-specific requirements to the final contract structure. The various types of metering points and migration timelines within the portfolio were taken into account. This has resulted in a standardized structure that allows for the planning of meter operation over several years and further strengthens the data foundation for energy management.
