Monika Riecken de Chavarría is the new Director Strategy and Growth

Monika Riecken de Chavarría joined energy and sustainability consultant Westbridge Advisory (Westbridge) at the beginning of the month as Director Strategy and Growth. In future, she will be responsible for the further development of the company's strategic direction and for the growth of the ESG expert. In her new position, she will report directly to Westbridge CEO Yama Mahasher.

Monika Riecken de Chavarría has extensive experience in business development, sustainable finance and corporate governance. She previously managed strategic projects at the econnext Group, a company in the cleantech sector. In particular, she was responsible for the subsidiary LUMENION (thermal energy storage), most recently as co-CEO. She was also involved in fundraising initiatives and M&A transactions. Riecken de Chavarría also gained professional experience at the Sparkassenstiftung in Kigali, Rwanda and the Boston Consulting Group. Born in Bonn, she holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Finance from Maastricht University.
